I am a jack of all trades… a Ph.D. in the social sciences, an ethnographer, a mathematician, a polyglot, a writer and an artist. I am a total food snob and a great cook/baker. I only use the best ingredients (all organic) in my cooking/baking and restaurants/bakeries rarely impress me. I love gardening and traveling. I have been blessed with a champagne taste in everything but cursed with a Budweiser budget thanks to my adjuncting job. Hence this blog.
